Classic stuff right there. But all jokes aside, it seems that the new CBA hasn't really altered the thinking of the league's GMs. A lot of the tension that forced the lockout was the ridiculous player contracts that were fueled by cutthroat GMs that were focused so much on winning that they did whatever it took to do it.
Not that that's such a bad thing, but when Pittsburgh is making a push like this, I can see Chicago & possily Boston & Anaheim also putting their foot on the gas, further accelerating contracts & trade negotiations through the roof. I guess we'll have to deal with it when 2021-2022 NHL Season comes around.
