Ryan Hutchinson Throws Chair After Being Ejected

So it's been a couple days without any recent news due to sicknessbut thanks to Yardbarker & Diehard Sports we have something. Ryan Hutchinson of the Kingston Frontenacs in the OHL (Ontario Hockey League for fair-weathered fans) had a melt-down after a fight the other night that ruined his future soccer career & ultimatley branded some kid as a sissy for the rest of his life. At around the 20 second mark of the video we see a man ON ICE with SKATES trying to kick a helmet (like if I didn't know the end to that story). But it gets better! Around the 35 second mark, Hutchinson scares the spine out of who I like to call now "sissy kid":

Ryan, I know that fight got you angry, but c'mon...No reason to go around making kids look like sissies!

Alexander Ovechkin Shoots Puck Through A Line of Scantily Clad, High-Heeled Women

Many things to point out here: 1) Alexander Ovechkin is pretty accurate with a snap shot. 2) This relationship he has with Gillette Russia is strange yet amazing. And 3) Russians are just plain unusual. In this video, much like the last Alex Ovechkin one, we see another promotional ridiculousness on the behalf of Gillette and it's spokesman. Check out the video:

I mean those girls have to be FREEZING out there on that ice. And Ovie looks like a boss: "Hello, I'm Alex. Ok stand here, here, & here. Done, now pay me Gillette." LIKE A BOSS.

NHL Power Rankings: Week #5 (2013)

As the weekend is upon us, here's the T.O.A. Week #5 NHL Power Rankings! This week we see a lot of violent movement & the continued perpetuation of two statistical anomalies that reveal who truly is stronger than the rest. Chicago continues to dominate for a 3rd straight week, while we see perennial powerhouses San Jose & Detroit slowly slipping into the abyss. The two statistical crazies have become Tampa Bay, due to there amazing start and goal differential keeping them climbing even though they're losing, & Nashville, who's record speaks for itself but their offensive output doesn't. Pittsburgh & Anaheim stay in place at the top while so does Columbus & Florida at the bottom of the bunch. Here's the rest of the NHL as they line up:

Gruesome Slash to the Face at QMJHL Game

A crazy injury gots me thinking about legal matters today. 17 year old QMJHL & Halifax Mooseheads player Brian Lovell recieved a huge slash to the face that could of killed him from 19 year old Russ Johnston:

While trying to dislodge the stick from the boards he [Johnston] looks directly at Lovell & then swipes it across his face, two-handed. A couple inches north to the temporal region of the head & we would be talking a possible 2nd degree murder on a minor by an adult. Here's the aftermath of the injury:

I'm glad he's being positive & a good sport about it. Wish him a speedy recovery.

What's Up with Ovechkin's Hair??

Last week Washington Capital's superstar Russian scorer Alexander Ovechkin was seen with a rather weird hairstyle:

Maybe he's trying to copy his childhood hero from Dragon Ball Z:

Meteor Damages KHL Arena

So Yardbarker (one my favoritenews sources) reported yesterday that the metoer which struck Russia & injured over 1000 people apparently has also damaged a major KHL arena.

Here's the story from the KHL site and a video if you haven't seen it yet from Russia of the meteor: Meteor damage at Arena Traktor to be assessed on Monday

Here's the original article from Yardbarker in it's entirety: Meteor Damages KHL Arena
