Russian Referee Fights Player

This footage is gold, gold I tell you! There seems to be a lot less rules in Russia, or at least a lot more fearless referees. The video below is a match between a referee & a player on ice at a game. It seems like something ruffled the feathers of the play & he gave a stiff cross-check to the referee. But what he didn't know was that in Soviet Russia, referee fights you!:

I love how he didn't even hesitate to take off his helmet & start the fight. The player to me should be in much bigger trouble for initiating the fight and also hitting an on ice official. The ref should get minor retaliation punishment for defending himself. Too funny, Go Russia...

Manti Te'o's Girlfriend Spotted at Dallas Stars Opener

What did I tell you guys! I knew the Dallas Stars' twitter account would make a comeback! Manti Te'o may deserve this one for being so gullible. But then again, the prank was pretty elaborate. Here's the tweet realeased by the Stars' organization:

And now here's the image on the jumbotron the twitter account was refering to:

Notre Dame football vs. Dallas Stars hockey. There's a trend happening here with football vs. hockey in Dallas, & I'm beginning to love it!

P.S.: It looks like that guy a couple seats down may have missed his hot dog & gotten a little mustard on his hand. Good grief.

Incredible night!

Though my Panthers lost in the last 2.5 seconds tonight, we had an incredibly wild match-up between the new Jets franchise and the feisty Flyers:

Good Old Hockey Game

So it's been a while since my last post (Over 3 months I believe) and I finally have something worth talking about. There are many things in October that I enjoy. For one you got Halloween, which has more recently become one of my favorite holidays on the account of the free candy and the increasingly slutty costumes women wear every year. Another reason I get excited for October is the ability to wipe the slate clean on last season and begin fresh with a new Hockey campaign. As I usually do, here’s a video I found on YouTube. This probably has to be one of the best hockey compilation videos I have ever seen:

As for the non-Hockey nation faithful, I hope you guys are enjoying October as much as I am for your own reasons. At least football's on right? Yup, lame old football.
