NHL Power Rankings: Week #13 (2013-14)

During week #12 of the NHL, we saw a lot of empty day's filled with gift giving & no hockey. Ranks didn't change much so we skipped last week & went straight into Week #13 (we may do the same during Sochi '14). Soooo welcome to Week #13 of the Official T.O.A Power Rankings!

What's up with Nashville?? Flip-flopping for the past month from "Hot" to "Not" is going to give your fans in Tennessee heart attacks! The top & bottom heavy teams seem to hold their places this week, & an island in Washington holds ground at #12 for the past 2 straight weeks (much like Montreal a few weeks back).

NHL Power Rankings: Week #11 (2013-14)

OK, so apologies on not getting these out on Wednesday, but T.O.A. is working on getting back onto schedule with the power ranks. But anyways, welcome to Week #11 of the Official T.O.A Power Rankings!

A lot of cool stories this week. Chicago & Anaheim are holding their weight up in the 1 & 2 spots. This would be an excellent match-up for the Campbell trophy later in the playoffs. Nashville has jumped up 5 spots in a seemingly poor streak as of late. This anomaly will be looked at carefully in the coming weeks. Another polar opposite is Florida only jumping 2 spots a midst a 5 game winning streak & winning 7 out of their last 8. This has substantial data evidence as the Cats did so poorly in the beginning of the season it has affected their stellar play as of late.

Buffalo has finally come out of the negative Power Index for the first time in a while after their 2 straight wins recently. Last year's low was a flat 0.000 which was shattered this year as the Sabres lackluster play simply set new T.O.A. records (record book will be in the beta stages soon).
